This tour’s second-day challenge is what is hailed as Taiwan’s most beautiful mid-level mountain – Yuanzueishan (Yuanzuei Mountain). It has an elevation of 2,180m. The hike requires use of both hands and feet, with numerous rope climbs up precipitous 90-degree rock faces, requiring domination of one’s sense of fear to reach the summit. The rock layer with white lime will shimmer in the sunlight. Besides, it is definitely a sight to see high on the panoramic mountain top. After summiting, the same cliffs must be tackled on the way down. This is a mountain-hike route that requires both physical strength and courage.
